Fic Recs: 1x12 Beyond the Sea

While I love the role reversal of Scully being the believer and Mulder the skeptic, “Beyond the Sea” is about Scully’s emotional journey. Brad Dourif gives a terrific performance as the serial killer Luther Lee Boggs. Gillian Anderson gets to show off her range as an actor. We get interesting back story and new insights into her character.

I have a few recs. I wish there were more, especially more stories about Melissa Scully. I should write a story about Melissa Scully.
