I have read this episode tag for "Syzygy" over and over again with pleasure. But then I love everything tree has written for The X-Files. She is one of a handful of writers who can give poetic voice to Scully, as well as show her scientific expertise and innate intelligence. Tree's Scully dazzles me.

I could totally hear their voices in my head. How I miss when they used to talk to each other and use big words you had to look up in the dictionary! It reminds me why I first fell in love with these people. They were SMART, and they were equally intelligent, each in their own way.

Sigh. How I miss our little show. And the entire fandom that came with it.
