Anyway, I've already posted about "Lethe" here, but it seems appropriate to rec it again for the episode where Scully meets the MUFON women for the first time. This is a terrific story by a great writer. My summary: Samantha meets Scully in the White Place.
I first read "The Bright White Place" ten years ago andI don't have time to read it again hell I just read it again anyway. (It is compulsively readable once you get going on it.) It is darkfic, very dark. If you throw enough twisted sex into your fic, it will fry my brain, because I remember liking it a lot. I might have been the only member of fictalk who did, too. If you check out the entry at Fanlore, you can see what people thought back in the day. What else? Krycek is a real shithead in this. I guess that's a warning, too. So, if you are the kind of reader who enjoys this sort of thing, go for it; otherwise, stay far, far away.

Zine format. Wow. I've never seen an X-Files zine, I've only read about them. The zine was eXotica issue 2, published in 1997. The Fanlore entry: eXotica.
